My dog is only 5 pounds, so he’s a bit small for the xs pack. We rolled towels for him to sit on and changed the carabiner position to the front position. He does not like the arm holes, but that might be dog specific.Pack is really high quality and comfortable for long hikes. Great support. My only complaint is the storage. The side pockets are a tight fit, even for the smallest water bottles. The pockets don’t have any stretch to them. The large zipper compartment is why we bought the pack. But, the access zipper does not give you easy access to the content, it just remains a narrow opening. The other addition that wasn’t well executed is the zipper storage on the belt. The pockets are so small. You probably could, put a pen in them, that’s it.Overall, l think it’s a great buy. But, maybe they will improve the storage in the future.I ordered the size according to the chart but the pack is a bit small for our Frenchie. The leg holes are narrow and seemingly uncomfortable for him. I removed his legs and had them straight out with the collar clicked in. This was better from comfort but I am worried a little about how much he can shift. Maybe I needed a bigger size pack and unfortunately by the time I got the chance to try it out a coupe months had past. I will say this the quality seems to be on point and sturdy design. I opted for the name badge and that is cool.I would have like if there was more support for the K9My girl loves being carried around in this backpack. Only downside is that the hip straps aren't very sturdy, so almost all of the weight stays on your shoulders.Super expensive but super enjoyable!I got the XL for my 40lb dog - she’s a GSD/chihuahua mix, so long with little legs. Fits her great!I love the loop to stop them from getting out, and the arm holes are handy. When my dog was comfortable she stood more nicely and really wrapped around my shouldersThis is a great pack that served me and my pup well while hiking in Arizona. He loved riding in it! I bought this pack for the hip belt feature. Im a small woman with back problems and need my pup's weight distributed on my hips. It is not as great as e.g. my backpacking pack, but it does a good job. There are several features that I think could really improve this pack. I would really like for k9 to make a pack that has an integrated pocket for up to a 3L bladder. I was able to rig together a solution to carry 3 L of water and my 25lb pup for our long desert hikes, but it is definitely suboptimal. I also wish that the spine length was adjustable. I was not able to position the pack on my hips exactly the way I would have liked without having to make the shoulder straps much too long. The spine length adjustment is a great feature in the Rover2 but i would love it for this bag for smaller dogs, for those of us small but active ladies. Finally it bothered me that the chest strap is partially elaticized.this makes no sense to me as I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want this strap to be completely rigid.Overall though the pack is great and I recommend. There is nothing else like it on the market, as far as I can tell! It’s a pretty nice backpack. All though it says the size isXL it still doesn’t fit 54 Lb 23” neck to tail Baby Dicky. I don’t think he hated the bag but he was just squeezed in there like a pig in a blanket.I’m using this bag so my dog can ride along with me when I ride on two wheels instead of my truck. My pupper is at the size limit of this XL bag so getting her in and out is awkward and tricky but she's super chill so we got it figured out. Did a test ride on the motorcycle and had a blast. All the adjustments get it as stable as a bag with a curious dog in it could be. She can lean to the sides a bit more than I'd like but I'm sure I'll get used to that.I loved the product. Getting right size for us was challenging but company refunded without any difficultiesI did have to pay return postage to get refundReally useful for active people . My dog has that soft fluffy hair that snow clings to and is therefore unable to walk in deep snow . Also great for her in extreme temperatures where her feet get so cold she begins to limp. This knapsack solves those problems . Great idea, great safety measures, she even took to it very well, but for the price arch support in any capacity as well as padded straps would have de this worth the ~$400, … real life value, def 175-200$ CDN.If possible I’d wait for improvements as I’m very in shape, bike year round in Ontario to commute, former bike messenger, vegan (obv because I have a dog pack pack lol) but still need to pick and choose my battles.Keep watching this company though, they’re on the right track, maybe buy used if possible lol.My 11lbs Pomeranian loves the outdoor and this bag is perfect for her when going through rougher or more steep terrain and we have to carry her for safety. This is a great day hike backpack (approx. 5 hours), there is enough room to store treats, food and water plus things for us too.Said it was good for up to 50 lbs dogs. My pup was 30 lbs and could not get it zipped up. Had no issues with the return though.
