I bought this for my oldest son's mini dachshund. She had destroyed the wire crate. She is extremely anxious when he goes to work. She would grab ahold of the door and pull. The tray would slide out and then she could walk the wire crate across the room. She managed to pop both doors open so that he had to secure them with carabiners. The last working day, she bent the crate out of shape. And then there was the peeing.The crate is large (they recommend a small one). The bars are too large to get her mouth on to pull. We put one tray inside to lay on and the other underneath to catch urine. Hopefully one day we can put a lovey inside (she destroys them.)The boxed had been dropped (it is heavy). Although the metal was bent, it wasn't enough to undermine the sturdiness of the crate. But the top had a corner that was broken. I contacted the seller who immediately responded with an offer of money refunded or a replacement top. We went with the top. we are looking for a new top in a few weeks. (It is being shipped to them and they have not received it as if this date.) I'll let you know how it works out once school starts.The crate looks great overall, mine showed up a little dented but still functional. The locks on this are honestly a little disappointing. If you have a crafty Dog they can easily knock the latches open. We used a carabiner on the slots in the latches for extra security. Aside from that the wide slats are safer for your pups feet and the provided pans are a plus.Had a wire kennel and my puppy was bending the bars and was getting out. This is a nice upgrade. Came with a few scratches on the wood and one of the holes for the screws caved in when assembling and the screw got stuck inside. Despite that I like that the bottom pans are separate because my pup likes to dump his water, the separate pans makes cleaning it up easier. Definitely looks nicer than the wire kennel as well and considering I kennel in my living room, that's nice.This is great crate. Really sturdy and solid. Looks good too which is nice since you can't really hide the big ones. ?Crate seems to be well made, not too terrible to put together. Very easy to move around with the lockable wheels. We’d had some issues with our initial shipment items, but the business was very quick to respond and offer different options to help, and got everything settled right away with shipping us the items needed to correct the issues. Very easy to work with and did not hesitate to help us fix the problem! Would definitely buy from them again.It is and how it look like part of my living roomIt’s Very sturdy crate. Looks good. We have had the crate for 5 days and so far it has kept our Escape artist contained.Crate easy to assemble looks great, 8 month old 50 pound husky managed to bend the locking mechanism and escape. Rivet failed on the top lock and door was able to be openedUpdate: company reached out and gave a partial refund, mentioned they are looking into the riveting method used to hold the spring loaded locks. I used a self tapping screw to fix the lock provided and added spring loaded locks to the outside.
